For the production process of the upholstery for Cell we applied the technology of in-mold vacuum forming. Polyurethane foam is injected into specially prepared fabrics inside a mold whilst applying a vacuum to it. This technology is used mainly in the car industry, as well as in the production of train and airplane seating.
