Triblade is based on one of our very first design tasks at the Stuttgart Academy of Arts – the “Lehmann cube”. Professor Lehmann was our first teacher in design, and the task was to create a cubic body repeatedly using only one element.
The prototype uses 24 CNC cut aluminum “blades” arranged around a 3D-printed core and uses a regular E27 light fitting. It shows our interest in modularity and systems within design, as well as good lighting quality.
